Pre-Planning / Pre-Need Arrangement
We are often asked why it is a good idea to pre-plan your cemetery arrangements, and many people are not aware that it is possible to do so. Cemetery pre-planning can be helpful for many reasons.
When a family loses a loved one, it can be very stressful to have to make so many decisions in a short amount of time, and in a bereaved state of mind. When arrangements have been pre-planned, and decisions have already been made, it makes things so much easier on family members during this challenging time. It also allows the person who is pre-planning to have some control over their final wishes.
Pre-planning may result in substantial savings, since grave spaces, mausoleum crypts, vaults and other merchandise, may be subject to inflation and rise in cost over the years.
Also, items purchased in advance may be financed for up to three years. Items purchased “at-need” (at the time of death) must be paid for, in full, at the time of the funeral.
